Start with what you need to connect

Hong Kong Network Engineering

Fiber.com.hk provides optical fibre (fiber) installation, splicing and repair, LAN cabling, business Wi-Fi and server-room engineering. Start with the locations and purpose.

Is network engineering the same as a broadband subscription?

No. Engineering covers on-site cabling and equipment. Broadband subscriptions, activation and terms are confirmed separately with the provider.

Can LAN, Wi-Fi and fibre be planned together?

Yes. LAN cabling connects devices, Wi-Fi addresses wireless coverage, and fibre links end locations.

What if I do not know the specifications?

Share locations, purpose, equipment and routes. Mark unknown details “to be confirmed” for the Team to follow up.

FIBRE FAULT SUPPORT

Emergency Fibre Repair

A fibre link has stopped working, a cable may be damaged, or a connection between floors has failed? Share the site location, impact and when the issue started so the engineering team can understand the problem.

  • Review the cable, connectors and equipment status to agree the inspection scope
  • Assess splice repair, connector work or cable replacement according to site conditions
  • Confirm the repair method, downtime arrangements and testing after repair

You can request urgent repair support. Attendance time and charges must be confirmed by the engineering team.

Four Items to Check Before Handover

HANDOVER CHECKLIST
  1. Cable Numbers & Port References

Matching labels at both ends, patch panels and outlets make cables easier to trace.

  2. Agreed Tests & Results

Agree on the testing approach, requirements and records. Internet connectivity alone does not replace full acceptance testing.

  3. As-Built Information & Outstanding Items

  4. Maintenance & Support Responsibilities

Confirm installation warranty, manufacturer warranty and ongoing maintenance separately, so future responsibilities are clear.

05 / Frequently Asked Questions

Want to Ask a Few Questions First?
That Is Fine

You can enquire before you have a floor plan or final specifications.

Start a Quick Enquiry
Can I enquire without knowing the specifications?

Yes. Choose "Not sure" at each step. Unknown details can be assessed during the requirements review or site visit, so you do not need to guess.

Can I enquire about several services together?

Yes. Select fibre, LAN, Wi-Fi and server room engineering together. A combined summary is shown before submission for you to check and edit.

Is my site visit already booked?

Your selected date is a booking request only. The actual time, charges and applicable conditions require our team's confirmation.

Can work be arranged in an operating shop or office?

Tell us what you need. We first assess the site, affected equipment, building requirements and available work windows, then consider daytime, evening or holiday arrangements.

Can I enquire for a home or village house?

Yes. Homes and village houses have a dedicated enquiry route. The company name can be marked not applicable, and the residential site type is recorded separately.

Detached Houses · Village Houses · Homes

Networking for every floorPlanned around the details of your home
